I am Looking to order 18' wheels for my tour . Also I want To Put Aftermarket Eibach Springs to Lower the car 1.5 Inches .
I am Wanting to Know from Anyone who has the same setup as I explained , Is the Wheel Well Gap Closed ?? and if so do your Tires Scrub when shocked ? my main Goal Is to Close the wheel well gap and also Put the Largest size rim w/out any Scrubbing AND/OR major wheel well alterations .
Another question ......If i put aftermarket Eibach Lowering Springs , Will I Have Any Problems With Allignment ?? Camber ??And My Factory Shocks ???
Any Input Would help With My project

you will have scraping problems if you don't get the right offset and if you don't have the right struts. . .there's no wheel gap regardless when you lower the car, adding 18in's is just for looks because 17's more than suffice. . .when I lowered my car with eibach's on 17's, I had .1 inches after the springs settled between the actual tire and the fender. Wasn't very fun to use as a daily driver, so I raised her back up. . .

Eibach's lower a car 1.25, HR about 1.5. . .use the SEARCH option to answer some of your other questions. . .

What do you consider the right offset for a 18 40mm?

IIRC my 18's where a 42mm offset.

In regards to the suspension. I honestly don't understand why anyone would still settle for a spring setup-up. Now we have coil-overs so there should ONLY be one choice now.
