Question. I just had the engine replaced in mt 'tour not too long ago, I had them put in a new Clutch kit with slave cyc. since the original had 189.5+K on it Now, i have only driven it real short distances lately, but from floor to friction point is only like 1/2 an inch, friction point to full off is a hair less than 1 inch. I haven't driven my baby for some time before the engine swap so I do not remember what the full travel should be.

I can say it's not causing any problems, and shifting is fine, but what should the proper travel of the peddle be?

Just my $0.02 95 SE V6 2.5L DOHC 5MTX, Post-98 Trunk Lid, Custom Air Intake 240K+ still counting Impregnated Pontiac D.I.C In Dash Pioneer KEH-5500 Crunch 200 AMP 2 15 Cerwin Vega DVC I love my 'tour!!!

The clutch disengages/engages right at the top of the pedal.

Hardly any pedal travel is required to do this. (I.E. maybe 1/3 travel for full shifting even at high rpm - just a tap to disengage)

It is absolutely awesome. I love a car that is set up to be driven!
