I knew it was not the money; no one really cries over $5. I thought it could have been a current issue that you two needed to talk about, but as you stated that it was her past. I am sure you two have already dealt with it or are dealing with it.
Do not make her avoid him or stress her out further. I do not know the guy, but be reasonable with him. Explain how what he is doing is hurting her, and he needs to leave her alone and or apologize. Don't even bring up the money or try and get $5 back, just make sure he understands what he is doing to her, and finally, that it needs to stop.

give your girlfriend a gun...have her shoot him...tell the cops it was self-defense...put in a couple extra bullets so she can get out the rest of the stress she has bottled up from her childhood....shoot that punk he'll never [censored] with her again...and if anyone else tries any [censored]...say you'll shoot them too

Look at it this way. It took $5 to get rid of this jerk? Then great. If he makes her cry at school, she can go to someone at school and explain he is harassing her. They have to fix that.
I know as well as anyone else on this website what it's like to be down to your last $5 or dime for that matter. And this guy rubs it in her face? Too bad I am not there. I'd give him something to cry about!
I just had a situation with my house. I bought my house 1 month ago, alone. I rent to my step-brother, and my ex-boyfriend. Yes I know, big mistake right? Well, they updated the electrical from fuses to a breaker box. All new electrical, and also all new plumbing. To make a long story short.
Last weekend, my ex, went crazy, kind of like he has a split personality. I came home at 2:30 in the morning, and he was moving things of his out of my shed into the back of his truck. Then he proceeded into the house into the basement in which I was asking him to be quiet, for my other roommate was sleeping in bed. He laughed and said no he's not sleeping. I couldn't figure out why he wouldn't be sleeping. I found out really soon. He was building a room in my basement for himself, some bright idea he came up with.
Well, he took a chainsaw to the room and destroyed it (this happened while I was gone). He then started to throw my stuff. A box full of my nail polish!! And my candles. I didn't know why someone would be so angry as to destroy everything like that. Then he came at me, pushed me down and threatened to kill me. Scary it was! I started to scream, and he finally left. I of course called the cops and they came and took care of the situation.
Well, with all that is said and done, he is moved out now. He is not allowed to come back, ever. I don't care about his 1/3 of the bills. I am just happy he is gone. I don't remember being that scared before. I am keeping only 1 roommate, my step-brother. I don't think I'll get another one. My ex does work for my mom's husband, but my mom's husband won't even let him stay at their house. Last I heard he stayed at a rest stop, and put his stuff in a storage locker. Serves him right!

I am very protective I do not let people mess with my loved ones,family or friends. I look at myself as a man/provider/protector. I will confront someone and usualy a few witty comments they are usualy apologizing to me. If they get lippy I have a few other options. Just make sure you keep a level head. If it comes down to it sometimes people just need to be "put in their place"

Im sorry you had to go through that. No one should have to. Oh and by the way,,,this guy things hes a "gift" to all women everywhere and thinks hes a bad A$$ becaus he use to wrestle...well i meet him yesterday after my last post here....had a nice convo....I did not threaten him i said:

ME: You have been a complete ass to my fiance and i her and i don;t appreciate it.

ME:I also expect you to pay her back because it was my money that i gave her to use for something else. And she was nice enough to let you borrow it.

I then procede to sit right behind him and he gets up and walks away..far away.
N-e-ways...I wasn't mean or rude. I just told him how it was. Hopefully it gets into his head!
ANd maybe i'll just borrow my friends Shovel, truck and rope....Nahh.
