I figured out what the problem was after I posted....j, we never reset anyone's TB's TPS back to it's original setting after we removed the input shaft!! Check out my fix in Troubleshooting section.
After I figured that out....BOY WHAT A DIFFFERENCE!!! Definitely the best "bang for the buck" mod I've done yet!!! Thanks again for the help, J!!!

Yes, Elky- thanks so much for having all of us! It was a great time (as usual). And...no snow this year! Glad I got to see a few new faces! It was a great day- got a tad chilly outside when the sun went down, but we all cuddled up and stuck it out! Steve or I will have to post the pics when we finally upload them off the camera. Think I got some good shots- can't wait to see them on the computer! We'll have 'em up soon!

So the throttle shaft didn't enguage the TPS sensor? If the blade on the end of the throttle shaft doesn't line up with the slot in the sensor the shaft won't go all the way in.
If the throttle shaft is inserted back into the throttle body with the shaft in the same orientation as it would be in the idle position it should work fine.
Anyways, glad to hear that you figured out what was wrong and you fixed it easily.
As for you SVT, with that fancy LED flashlight, you have no exceuse for not having enough light to see what you were doing.

I'm sorry we didn't have the data to help you better throuble shoot your car. I just got home about 30 minutes ago. The ride home was uneventful and there wasn't any traffic. There were some dense spots but no major slow downs like on my ride up. I'd like to thank Elky for the hospitatlity, and everyting he and his room mates did to help out. Those left over bottles of Smirnoff Black and Sam's Summer Ale are my gift, so drink up. Kevin, watch out for that gravity, there can be some real strong spots

Robin and I had a complete blast!! It was great seeing everybody again. So... the bad news!! The reason we didn't make it up today- as soon as we left, and started driving home, I started feeling kinda stuffy. As the night went on, I felt worse and worse. Woke up this morning with a nasty cold!! Nose hasn't stopped running since yesterday. Glad my airsoft was so popular. We've all gotta have our fun toys. Heh. Oh, and... we saved the Mike's Lemonade bottle that Robin took out, Lee Harvey Oswald-style. ;-)
