I got this 4,800 saved up and its time for me to mod my contour.. i got the basic mods..intake, flex back exuast, cam gears, udp, accell coil and wires... So ok it's time to make my 4cyl one of the fastest in the midwest..so what do i do from here? i need suggestions so i know what route to take to spend the money efficently...

Wrong - for FI the SVT Zetec is the last engine I'd choose. You'd have to dumb it down so much for boost it wouldn't be worth what you'd pay for it.

swap pistons. the SVT engine is 10.2:1 compression, ours are like 9.6:1 i say f' it, and go all motor and run 12:2:1  but i can't  cus im belt driven. :/ ~~~~wooosh

$4800???  If you really want power, go turbo. You can have a supercharger sooner and get good power, but a turbo has more potential. If you do it your self, plan $3000 dollars for all of your turbo needs(turbo, manifold, intercooler, fuel system, etc.) You may not spend this much, but plan on it. Spend the rest on drivetrain mods. Be sure to save some extra to fix what breaks.  I really want to see somebody with the patience, money and desire to make it work. My $.02(<--Life Savings  )
