Maybe it's because i'm used to the 300zx now, but the rpms on the svt seem to drop very very slowly. i don't know if they necessarily "hang" but the fall time seems long. am i retarded or is there something i should chk on this one..

thx

It is probably throttle hang. There is a How-to in the FAQ about how to fix this. -Nick

it's definitely throttle hang but i think to a degree it's a normal thing for our cars. i've driven 300zx's and mustangs before and i've never seen the rpm's hang like they do on our cars. they drop instantly when you push in the clutch. what really sucks is when the rpm's increase when you push in the clutch. now THAT'S annoying! throttle hang at it's worst!

Depending on how old your car is, you might need to replace the IAC. I just did on my car (75k miles) and it now drives like new. The revs now drop a lot quicker than before and I don't need the TH fix.

Hope this helps.
