I need urgent help as to what to do.. For the past week ive been driving around to what i thought was a small leak. to my surprise it was a huge leak!!!! i didnt find the problem untill I turned teh car on and saw that the sender for my oil pressure guage was leaking out of teh screw to the wire.. not from the block. My question is do i have to replace the entire sender or just a washer that might be worn out. I am able to move the screw that stick out of the sender in various directions and when this happends oil spews out like an artery. I have pics if you think it will help but ill upload them later.. Total oil lost from this small leak = 3quarts.!!!!!!! eek eek

Replace the sender. Twenty years ago this was a very common failure. Fortunately is is far less common today. There is no practical way to repair the sender.
