Well, you won't know until you try. Keep in mind the basic Contour doesn't handle as well as the SVT. It's only common sense to assume the same thing applies between an SVT focus and a ZX3 Focus.

It cracks me up how people can make judgements like this on cars they have never driven or even seen driven, nor do they know anyone that has driven one.

The SVT Focus will kick butt. It will at least hang with an SVT Contour in a straight line, if not beat it, and out handle it in the corners with ease. The only real complaints anyone can have right now about it is if they don't like its looks, and if they need 4 doors.

It's all about balance.

Does Ford have any plans on tweaking the Focus sedan like the 2 door. I don't follow the Focus too closely.

dude, your on crack. I have owned both cars, the top of the line contour (svt) and now top of the line zx3 (s2), the contour has got it in a straight line, but stock to stock on equal tires, the zx3 (s2) would leave the svt behind in the twisties, not to mention the fit, finish and general quality is twice as good for literally half the price.

I just cant see anyone in the late 20's or 30's buying one of these cars. I remember one of my coworkers asking me. People actually finance those ugly POS's???

Is this a serious topic? The Focus SVT is pathetic. Look at the thing! It looks like something a hampster gets his exercise in. I would love to roll a Focus down a hill...it would go for miles considering it's a perfectly round ball.
