To anyone with a Superchip: 1)About what % increase in HP have you got from installing the chip?
2)Is it mandatory to use high octane fuel with the chip installed?

I have a Superchip and I'll tell you this...without it, I do NOT like driving my car! Thats what it does. With having an ATX it completely changes shift points and you get quite a bit more HP. Im not going to quote numbers but its a good gain but I thought I remembered reading it say about 10-15% gain. About the High octane gas...I recommend following the instructions and getting it...I'M not going to risk finding out what happens if you don't use it. I feel that it has probably been the best mod that I have done to my car yet.

took about 20 minutes if that. When you get the chip...there is instructions on how to install it...only thing is, I couldn't get the brace that holds the computer in place back on because the chip makes it too long...(you'll see if you get the chip) dont worry though, the computer is still held securely by a bolt on the top of it in the engine bay. Very easy install

hector has had problems with his chip, probably just needs to be reprogrammed as it's a couple of years old.
