I have the chance to get this for my CSVT and have heard about people actually losing hp when doing it. With only 168 hp on my most recent dyno I can't afford to lose any thats for sure. So what have you guys netted? Keep in mind that I have true duals and gutted pre-cats, if that really matters here. Thanks guys

I too was thinking of doing this at one time, but after hearing DemonSVT had a dyno proven loss.......BAH, I pinched that idea off and flushed it before it could make anymore of a stink

Roger-

I would avoid doing the tb upgrade in your situation. I don't think at this point it would be your best bang for the buck. Ever think of getting the heads done?

I lost HP, I have the dyno graph some where. IIRC I lost 7hp Peak, this was on a completely stock SVT.

On somewhat of a related note, I have a '97 Sport, would getting a SVT TB be a good idea? I have a chance to take one off a wrecked SVT.

Im also thinking about getting a Superchip. Yea? or Nay?

I've pondered upsizing the TB and it seems it's not a huge restriction. I'd get a hold of rick (Buckshot77) and get an SVT optimized TB. It's $57 or so (157 at first, and when you send him your unoptimized TB, he gives you $100 back).

Another thought...what if I added a SAFC? How would we look with that set up?

Better, but I still don't think 65 is an optimal size.
