Whats up my former SVT comrades. I am looking to get together soon at the drags and meet. I want to run my new RSX Type S and also my still heavily moddified Daytona Shelby Z. Would also like to see how the RSX stacks up against a good svt driver (so far they have all been bad). You guys suggest a good date and place and I am game. I will bring some guys from the Winchester area as well.. 1st gen TSI, Celica GT-S, Spec V Sentra.. it would be fun. Let me know what you think Ryan or e-mail me at rturner82@yahoo.com

Bring all your friends that drive "American" cars to Cecil County Dragway on Saturday (and the Daytona is eligible - come on down and raise $$$ for charity). Unfortunately, I won't be able to give you a good run in the RSX (and I'm a good driver IMHO) as only American makes are eligible to run.
FWIW, the RSX's I've seen at the strip run low low 15s to maybe 15.4 (unknown mods), so it does boil down to a driver's race as a modded SVT can be run into the low low 15s.

Im off that weekend. Tell you what, my e-mail is rturner82@yahoo.com . Where is the race held at? I will be happy to meet you there and then we can see. Sure you will take me off the line, but we'll see when we pass the 1/4 mark. Sound good? R

Even better - show up at Englishtown for "Street Wars: Import vs. Domestic" on June 15. All day, one lane is Import and one lane is the home team. Win one round, get a trophy and a sticker. Win your class and get $500 (IIRC). I'll be there, running the 14.00 - 14.99 class.
I'll tell you what - if you race me, you better cut a good light and run your number. I'm no slouch when it comes to bracket racing. I went 6 rounds deep at the last I vs. D event, on a broken axle and fried clutch.

unfortunatly I can't get off that weekend, but I can make the 21st. Besides I actually think you would beat me, heh heh I have read about your other bracket racing experiences and I don't think I can cut a .500 .. but who knows, guess we'll see. Besides PA3L, you don't talk much smack so I got a lot of respect for you...

Yeah, talking smack is OK from time to time, but I prefer to let the win light do the talking for me. Can't make it for Nopi on the 21st - I can only race on Sundays as I work Saturday nights.
