auiotour, this is an idiotic statement and a good way to get yourself flagged as an individual to not do business with. In fact, I'm considering gauges for my Zetec. But since you decided to come out and completely be a blooming moron w/ Hector you've saved me the time of contacting you about it. Question for ya: were you attempting to spell audiotour when you registered?
And to whoever said "waaa waaa waaa all the Zetec drivers chimed in ...did anyone ever answer the question?" - too bad. No thread on this site will remain completely polarized unless it's a mechanical topic specific to one engine or the other.
Damn I'm disgusted more and more everyday with some of the members on this site...
And another thing: There's no such thing as a stock, chipped Duratec (refer to title and think about it if you don't understand).

Waa Waa Waa, you dumb Zetec owners are at it again! Ooops. Sorry Darryll (spelled right?) I didn't know you were on this thread. [read: president of the AZLU - american zetec liberties union] I mean...I ah...It's good to see all the zetec and svt owners in here together, living in perfect harmony... (no not ebony and ivory... ) lol Seriously, if Ford rates the V6 MTX duratech at 139 ungoverned and then it rates the SVT at 143-144 ungoverned, that is 30 HP to get another 4-5 MPH. Wind resistance IS exponential. What kind of power will be needed to hit the 160 MPH mark?

warmonger,
You should have one of the tour's with real braggin rights for over 150 after your latest mods. So I do trust your judgement. And it takes about 30-40 HP extra to get the SVT version to touch 150 so I do not want to even attempt to reach 160.

As for the SVT part on a 4 banger, its all cool having guages that go to 160, but he should get new guages that dont say svt, its dumb, thats like me putting svt on the back pr my 95 se. Yea its totally a SVT, As for my login name, my Middle Name is Aüio, So that is why its auiotour, if you notice my AIM SN is auioxix, for Aüio 19! As for my spelling, I usually type to fast and dont notice mistakes that I make. But I can spell. Thanks. As for the guages, just don't put svt on them. If you want them to look like them thats fine. Just don't be putting svt in them. If he is in the process of getting new layout for them, then i guess who cares if he has svt ones. But if you plan on leaving them, it just looks dumb, unless you are gonnd do everything to your car to make it a svt. And, with or without your business, I don't mind, I am finding tons of ricers at the races, who are ordering guages from me. If you ever change your mind, I do the best work, on CEG, and in the area.
Edit: BTW did I mention that if they are ever ruined for whatever reason, I will redo them the same way as the ones I made last time, for $20.00 (if they are damage by defect, I will replace for free) and if you ever want them redone to a different set, I will do them for a little cheaper then normal.

I have had mine to 155 (via speedo) many times. This is the most stable car at high speeds I've ever been in!
