I am deciding between a couple options need opinions.
Friend selling 2 kappa perfect 10's for $250 w/ box. or I can buy 2 kappa perfect 12's for $260 w/o box or what do you think about 3 audiobahn 10's with box for $250.....Then for speakers I want to get 4 infinity 6x8's or is it worth modifying to fit 4 infinity 6x9's....Is there a brand out there better than infinity that ya'll would recommend? Thx...Rockford Fosgate..punches, h2, or h3....I want 2-3 subs 10's or 12's without going over 300-350 dallors.Thx.

Of the three options you listed, I'd pick a pair of Kappa 12s and build a custom box for them. Perfects are pretty good, but Audiobahn's are generally more "show" than "go".

Here are a couple other options.

Pair of Stryke AV12's - best bang per buck dollar on the market right now (and pretty too).

Dayton 12" DSQ - it'd be my choice for a sub with smaller box requirements. I built a box which would house a pair of them that takes up very little trunk space.

As for full range speakers, I'd suggest some components up front with a modest amp and not bother replacing the rears. As for which ones to get, go to the local car stereo shop and have a listen and pick the ones that sound the best.
