Sweet man! That's almost exactly what I've been planning on doing since last fall, just haven't had a chance yet and haven't put the materials together. You put it on with the turbo right? so I guess you couldn't give a real comparison of whether or not it helped much on its own. looks sweet indeed. If there's anything I should watch out for when I do mine that you could perhaps give me some warning on I would appreciate it, otherwise, I hope to be cutting a hole in my car in another month or so.

The inner fender is well sealed from water.

There should be no water problems unless he starts driving into lakes or ponds. I pretty sure Tom can avoid that...

I am lost, where is the intercooler? Seems to me like that will run so hot detonation will cause you to run such a low boost level it won't matter.

I don't know about that. Even 5psi on the streetflight turbo'd 2.5L is about 230 HP to the wheels. Thats low enough to not have to worry about an intercooler. The vortech SC'rs are running 7-10psi without an intercooler though they dump fuel like mad under high boost.
So I think 7 psi with conservative tune is okay without an intercooler if you aren't nailing it on really hot days.
Oh yeah, you are showing an air-air intercooler and there is no room for that on an SVT.

With all that being said, I have a water to air intercooler sitting on the shelf right now waiting to be fitted into the car. I've already learned my lesson on running without an intercooler on hot days.!

It's a pity that I sent the picture of the unfinished intake piping. The finished-up painted version looks much better.

I miss my SR20DEt now. Whaawhaaa . No really. I really miss it. That car kicked arse, until the Volvo got it. Nice intake, good luck with it.
