OP Temujin New CEG\'er T Joined: Aug 2002 Posts: 26 Canada	Is there a spare 12v constant that can handle 20A? I'm installing an Alpine CDA-7894 and it says "DO NOT connect to back of dash". Rather than running a new 10 gauge line, is there a spare 20A 12v constant somewhere? And the size of that tiny 16 gauge wire doesn't inspire confidence in me that it can actually handle 20A without melting...

juspifool_dup1 CEG\'er J Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 326 Erie, PA	I don't know if there is one avalible in the fuse box. I just ran a 12 gauge wire to the battery for my CDA-9813 and put an inline fuse in also. 1998 T-Red SVT Contour #2588 of 6535 2005 F-150
