take the brake caliper off and the rotor and it should pound right out, then just pound the new one in. Pretty simple if you don't strip the caliper guide pin (7mm torx socket i believe)

Yeah,

What he said.

Althought, I'm not sure I'd pound the new one in. However, if you can get enought through to get some threads, you can use some washers and the lug nut to draw the new stud into place.

I wouldn't pound it directly at first or you'll flatten the end that still needs to go through the hole! I just did one recently on a 240sx using a sturdy rounded chisel tip and a hammer, putting all pressure in the center of the bolt. Then when it was backed out about 1/4" I hammered away at it and it popped right out. A little rust eater helped too.

As far as getting a new one in, get some washers that will fit around it, about 1/4" worth. As you put the new stud in, push it to where it stops with hand force, put the washers on it, then start to work on the lug nut, which will pull the bolt all the way through since the washers will cover the 1/4" non-threaded gap. Good luck!

Piece of cake, took me 30 minutes to replace mine.

Take off caliper and rotor, pound out the old one, put in the new one. Simple as pie.
