whats up i took my tour to this mechanic and said i need a TPS sensor i was like ok and left the shop saying to myself what the f__k is that any one knows before i spend the 150.00 dollars if u also need to know its because when i come to a stop at a red light or stop sign or just stop to look at some ass my car starts to jerks and sometimes turn off please let me know what u guys think or if u heard of this sensor

Throttle position sensor. It is on the throttlebody. Tells the ECU how much load the engine is under as well as feedback for a stable idle.

throttle posstion sensor
located on the side of the throttle body
not sure but the only thing that it really does is for an atx, other then that it is a check for other sensors

Yes, there is no way around it.
Don't be misleading, Hector.
No, you don't have to spend $150 to fix it. You can buy one off of fordpartsonline.com for ~$42 and change it yourself. It's only held on by two bolts, IIRC.

No, you don't have to spend $150 to fix it. You can buy one off of fordpartsonline.com for ~$42 and change it yourself. It's only held on by two bolts, IIRC.
yes it is mounted with two screws, mine were very hard to take out so be careful. had to use vice grips to get them out and had to replace them after
