Once again my system has changed in this car. Goodies went to another car. I now need an 8" for some bass out of the deck hole.

I need something better than this
Illusion Audio LM-804 Price is $109 cdn.

Thanks.

That's a tough woofer to beat for the application.

Elemental e8A is a possibility as is the Kicker L7 8.

Have you thought about using two of them?

i figure if i was gonna use 2 8's in the rear deck maybe i should just use 1 10". What do you think?

Unless i put them in the rear door.

Using a 10 in the rear deck could work very well and wouldn't be a ton of work.

would the Illusion Audio LM-10 be a good choice for this?

The low Q makes will make the bass very tight, but somewhat lacking in qty. The xmax is good and with some EQ, you could increase the low end output.

I am working on getting to understand this stuff. I haven't sorted out the various "Q"s out there... If I'm looking for free air use (trunk) for what values, roughly, am I looking for?
I only know there are usually three Qs, "Qms", "Qes" and "Qts".
