Ok so my fiancée who's an RN came home from work a while back and told me about these newborns named Le Quarious Qwlan and Le Quez Q Larious and I was stunned by the names. I just don't understand. It may just be me, because those names seem awfully odd. But since I don't have any children yet, who knows what my poor kids are going to be named.

I was just curious as to what other people's views on child naming were. Do you go for the traditional, or the throw a bunch of syllables together and be unique approach?

Hey Tubs, I just lost my jengajam. Your ghetto pass has been revoked. You're no longer an honorary brother.

I would go with something simple because why should a child be stuck with some stupid name that they never wanted and will never be able to get pronounced correctly the fist time just because the parent wants it ?? if they want to be called dffsdkfgyty by everybody they know then they can get their name changed or tell everybody to call them that. so from me they will have just a normal sounding/looking name (mostly so I will not misspell it everytime I go to write it down)

Our son's name is Thomas. Traditional, yeah, but think of it this way. Would you want to yell "Diptheriosimus" across the playground to your kid?

I agree. I want traditional names for my future kids.
