What would flow better true dual or a bigger single pipe that split to dual? Also if anyone knows if you have to have special headers or exhaust if you get a supercharger. I'm not getting one anytime soon but I don't want to have to go back and spend more money if I decide to get it.

its all about exhaust velocity. an inproperly setup true dual system could be less efficient than a single pipe exhaust system and vise versa. pipe size diameter, number of bends, and exhaust components all play a factor in a good exhaust system.

if done right, a 3inch pipe will flow just as well, if not better then true duals. especially with limited mods done.

Not true...

The smaller piping will retain more exhaust velocity from the "pulses" which will improve the performance on many levels.

You are ELIMINATING the Y-pipe! That's a bonus in and of itself. If you have "quasi" (fake) duals you are eliminating 2 of them.

Also with "limited" mods a large, single 3" pipe will be overkill to begin with and the much slower exhaust velocity with be hurting it further.
