hexx yes u can blow the seals and gaskets .. i had a 4 banger chevy on a .. piece ef junk.. um.. .. uhh.. .. thing .. of a junk.. olds starfire.. buick skyhawk.. yeah yeah .. umm. chevy .. .. i forget .. it was the same thing though.. i overfilled the dipstick above the Full line and sure enough it leaked oil ever since..

so .. i mean .. i dont think i ever go to 5000 rpm ! maybe on a downshift. i just dont rev it like im racing on the streets .. 3k usually sometimes 4k but very seldom .. ..
so .. if you do 5 k all the time maybe u ought to get a special racing oil pan with extra capacity.



its just a car to get from pt a to b usually it does it nicely --AIM: chronon1 95 Tour SE, 2.5 lliter 24V DOHC V6, 5 speed manual

The TSB references only 6cyl....what if you are having this same symptom with a 4cyl?
