I was looking at the SP Motorsports site and was looking at the different intake kits that they have and I don't know which one would be the best or the best for the $$. I assume that the cold air intake would be the best since true cold air actually takes air from out of the engine compartment, however, how much of a difference would there be if, for example, I went with the Kurtz True Rev Induction Kit (by the way, what is that exactly) or the SHO Shop cold air induction Kit? Also, what is the K&N FIPK? Thanks for the info.

Do you have a Duratec or Zetec engine?

He's got a duratec from what I read. He asked b4 about non-svt intakes.

I know what it stands for, I was wondering if it is worth the money for what it does, or if something else would be better.

Your best bet is a large cone K&N, a MAF adapter and a homade heatsheild. Do a search and you should be able to find the specifics.

MAF adapter from duratech performance $27 (see links)
K&N #3530 from Jegs $45
Heat shield material from Home Depot <$10

Good to go...

Even though it isn't a true cold air intake?

There is no decent "true" cold air intake for out cars. Your best bet is whats listed above.
