Had to get it out of my system, so we G-teched it and got:

a best of 7.36 0-60mph

That was with a full tank of gas and 2 people in the car.

1/4 mile was 15.9@90mph (I think) but that was on the second 0-60 run which was 7.6 with a fair bit of wheel spin and more wheel hop.

60-0 was 158 feet.

The wheel hop didn't give me a good feeling, so that is the last of the hard driving. I wasn't dropping the clutch off the line. I only did 3 runs total, and the the 3rd was for the 60-0 so it was easy on the upshifts.

Now the headlights down right suck. They are on par with my '85 Olds Tornado with 10 year old Canadian Tire special lights. The highs are OK, but the lows are worthless. They are not yellow or foggy, just scrached up refracting the light. Hopefully some of the plastic polishing compounds out will work to fix them up.

Congrats on the new car, I remember my first night with my 98 SVT it was almost as good as my first night with my 99 SVT but my 1998 I took over someone's lease and the paint was a little scuffed and scrached not well taken care of outside. My 1999 I bought it brand new so I had taken more pride in it and enjoyed it more.

As I said congrats and enjoy the new ride I sure have!

Check the mod page. There is a fix for your headlight issue. It involved running dual high beam bulbs.

Pretty nice accelaration runs, Greg!!

I never actually did any testing on it when I had it, though that would have been fun.

Did Campbell Ford find that radio face plate??

Yes they found the face plate. Everything seems to be working out OK.

Thanks for the tip on the headlights.

Let me know how you want me to get you those rear floor mats.
I found them in a box in my garage which hadn't been unpacked.

Also, Greg, if you're interested in the snows on rims, let me know as soon as you can.

Enjoy the car!

P.S. I gotta change my signature here...sniff sniff, I really do miss the 'Tour.
