Just wanted ya'lls take on aluminum foot pedals. Does anyone have some? Do they work well? Which ones are the best to get?

I have a set. They enlarge the surface area of the pedal as well as being not as slippery. In my opinion they are worth it.

I've had a set of Razo pedal for a year now. The first couple months they were very nice and functional. After that the surface got real slick and I slip all the time when using my clutch.
I want some of the KKM pedals just for the different look I'll get.

I waspicking up my SVT at the dealership soon after I bought it (after having some warranty work done) , I walked across the lot , through some water (not thinking anything of it) & got into my car . I started backing out of the spot & my foot slipped off the clutch , launching me backwards , towards a couple Cobras & a Lightning . While I didn't go 100 mph & land just inches away from them , it was enough of a wake-up call for me to get some nice , grippy pedals ... IMMEDIATELY . They're still on there to this day , I love 'em . You can see 'em in my sig. if ya look .

I forget what kind mine are right off the top of my head , might be 3A Racing , but Räzo sounds familiar too . I bought a set for my bro for his '95 , his are 3A Racing , and came with a few colored insets to choose from . He has blue installed , to match his car . They mount nicely with screw-clamps (not bend over tabs) . I did go one step further & made different brackets for a couple spots to make them even more solid . But then again , I'm pretty anal with that kinda stuff . Still grippy after about 15,000 miles .

I have some pedals specifically made for the Contour, and they have SVT engraved onto them. I believe they are by SPR SRP or something along those lines. try www.srpracing.net

Also, the pedals grip very well, but IMO the best benefit is the ease of heel to toe shifting.
