Jerome Duncan need persuading, ask to talk to the Service MANAGER. That's what I did when they didn't want to fix my 3rd gear grind in my tranny.
One old fart service advisor who drove it said it wasn't there, which was total BS. I said if you shift quick it grinds every time. His answer was "Well don't shift it quick then..."
I told him that if I didn't want to shift quick I would not have bought an SVT, a performance vehicle a dn would be driving a windstar instead. After getting into a yelling match, the service manager came out, tokk it for a drive down the street and back and agreed to repair it. Once they got it open it need the 3rd gear synchro and gear, and the 4th gear synchro and gear, and a new diff!
