I'm cleaning the upper and lower intake manifolds, I've got everything all apart, and was wondering; if I take all the butterflies off of the shafts, will the shafts just pull out of the LIM?

Never mind, my local dealership is letting me soak it there overnight. Now on to cleaning up everything else.

You can pull the shafts out but it can be tricky getting them back in.As soon as they are out the two bearing caps that they run on pop out-you need to push them back down as you thread the rod back in-a piece of heavy electrical wire works well
