I ran a 9.21 @ 80.23 when I ran at Firebird, here in PHX. I have FI, of course. Tom, I beat your Turbo'd 3.0L? You might wanna invest in some driving lessons! Haha. j/k, I am sure it was due to your recent "issues". (see car #22)

Due to me taking off very gently in first you mean!
I had no idea what shape my transmission was in at the time. I do now as I cracked it open today. The diff doesn't have a mark on it!?? I was surprised. Its still a very sloppy design and needs upgraded, but I thought I'd see broken teeth or something. I know now that the noise I heard and assumed was noise from the transmission was actually the right front wheelbearing.
Don't worry Jason, its all in the take-off. Hopefully in a few weeks here I'll show you what it can do in person!

Funny how my trapp speeds are several miles per hour higher in both the 1/8th and the 1/4 yet your 1/8th and 1/4 times are better. Again, its all in the take-off. Must be them driving lessons

I look forward to seeing your times. I know that you had to take off easy, I was just ribbing you.
I have a run with a 103MPH trapp but the ET sucked as I spun too much off of the line.
I think that if you sheared a tooth from the dif, you would immediatly know it. Keyser's dif looked pretty bad up close with well abused gears. They looked dinged up. The gears did not spin very freely either.

Just ran the 1/8th mile yesterday. Best time was 9.892 Best 60 foot time was 2.472 Highest speed was 72.82 It was really fun until something in the front end broke Could be a cv joint, hopefully not an axle or differential or anything expensive like that.

Well, if you busted CV joint, you'll likely be replacing the whole axle anyway ... Not as expensive as it sounds.
