hey, i was wondering about chameleon paint and applications for it other than on a car. does any one know whether it would work on other surfaces than metal. like on wood or plastic for example. maybe it needs a certain type of primer or something. just curious. thanks.

well bumpers are plastic the painter at my work has done it to his car(flames) as well as a helmet and some emblems. i dont know about wood though, i guess it would work? i would have to ask him. i belive you have to first have a dark base coat(black) for the full effect. and you will need a flex primer for flexible parts, bumpers have to have it as well.

If you use the proper primers for the subtrate to be painted, you can put whatever you like on them. I have painted wood furniture with automotive urethanes before. Comes out nice. I guess you could do your patio set in a wild-a$$ color if you wished.
