I'm interested in converting my pre-98 trunk for a post 98. Is there any post 98 owners wanting to do the same?

You seriously want a post-98 rear-end?
Most any post-98 owners will give an arm and a leg to get rid of that ugly trunk lid they got. They'd probably swap trunks and pay you extra for your trouble.
You shouldn't have any problems at all finding someone willing to swap. It's why you would swap that I find interesting. But to each their own.

You gotta change the taillights too, I'm told... The pre 98's angle differently, leaving a large gap with the later lid.
I'm here for a good time, not a long time.

Yeha but I can't imagine anyone doing a straight swap having a problem swapping tail lights as well. Just seems dumb.
FYI I am looking to swap trunk lids for a pre98...prefferably with a lip spoiler.Silver frost. My rear reflector and tails are also smoked

I am soon swapping mine already. A guy near me wants to trade. the post98 trunk makes the pre98 look a little more agreesive. Which i like. Since the pre98 looks weak and looks like a clone in front.

I think the pre98 looks good with the SVT kit and it has got to have the lip spoiler. Otherwise the post98 looks better IMHO. I switched mine out and never changed the lights, and the they line up fine on mine
