i just set up my computer to use 2 monitors, which is all well and good. my problem is that when i full screen windows media player on the secondary monitor, it full screens on the primary! how can i fix that? (im using xp)
now officially a troll, i guess. used to have a black 96 SE, until it broke down one too many times.
now I'm hunting for a motorycle.

It can depend on what software is being used to distribute windows between the monitors and force them to maximize to just one monitor... in short, more information is needed.

Can you change the other monitor to be your primary monitor ? I think WMP has problems displaying full screen on a secondary monitor.

not using any special software, its all handled by windows.

get an nvidea card. or if u do then update the software, it should do it.

does the start menu appear in the secondary monitor? probably not...i think its supposed to be used as a desktop annex not like a whole new desktop....in other words i dont think its possible with windows...not even sure if screensavers will work on both...didnt when i tried it with win2k

yeah...or a video card that is capable of doing dual monitors...erm...something g400? i dont remember exactly i havent been into computers for awhile...but 2 cards 2 monitors its only worth doing if you need it...otherwise it gets annoying

g400 is a matrox card, they're pretty cool. i mostly use the second monitor for watching divx'es while i browse the net, and for debugging full screen games
