It's a shame cars don't come with Underhood Courtesy Lights anymore? I saw it listed in someoneā??s profile and was wondering how to get one for my vehicle!

I went to the junkyard and got one from an old Pontiac Sunbird. Works perfect.

I have a underhood light on my car. its looks like someone stuck the wrong bulb in and almost cause a melt down with the wireharness but I replaced it with one from a 95 tour at the junk yard.

Was it difficult to add once you got the part? I assume you could get the part at a junkyard or through ford!

i'm thinking of getting one off of an old ford pickup cause they have a retractable cord so you can stretch it out to get more light on what your working on.

My Mystique came with one.... but it's mounting frame was built into the hood-liner (which I removed)... now my light is held in place with velcro and tape until I can get it secured better.

I got one from a '95 'Tour in a junkyard . I've had it for a loooong time now (along with a few other re-contents) , but am to lazy to install it . Maybe this will be the year to finish it up . Don't forget to grab the light , wires , AND the switch on the radiator support .

My Chevy Z-71 had one that was retractable and reached all the way to the back of the bed
