Well, I have been out of touch for awhile and I moved from Southern California to North of the SF Bay area (Santa Rosa). My car has about 72K miles on it and I notice that the suspension is getting mushy. I need advice on what to replace and with what. Also, does anyone know where to have the work done around here...competently and where it won't cost me an arm and a leg?

I want the suspension to be firm and responsive but not harsh. I am a pretty easy driver, never autocross, but there are some nice twisty roads to drive on around here and I want it to handle well.

Thanks for your help.

do you want to drop it? check BAT for some basic spring/strut replacements. Also using poly bushings where you can will also help. check the main part of this site, go to mods and suspension, that should help some. Maybe see if someone has some barely used st200 struts (and maybe springs) or if you want a drop, try getting some used roush springs for a good deal.
