Anyone have any opinions on these? The Z-rated tires.
Also, just to make sure. These will fit together, and fit on my car right?
17X7 4-108/100 40S wheels with with 225/45-17 tires.

I have them on my car in 215/45-17. good all around tire. Quieter than stock and pretty sticky although I'm sure there are stickier tires out there. Treadlife seems to be decent too although I haven't had them that long.

i had 215/35/18's and they were great, i got mine from discounttiredirect.com they have some good prices on them, i'm looking at Yokohama Parada Spec 2's next or maybe some BFGoodrich Scorchers (the tires with the different color rings of tread)

What tire are you used to?
I had BFG Gforce Stock on my SVT then went to Nitto's and I think they SUCK AZS! Less traction new than the BGF's were at over a year old!
The tire sizes you listed will fit fine. The NITTO's are cheap, much cheaper than the G-Force 16" OEM tires for the SVT, though I should tell you the G-Force tires are cheaper in the 17" size than the 16" and if you are looking at 17's they are a better tire hands down.
I took off my nittos with only 7K miles on them because they had no damn traction wet at all, and average traction dry. I do have a 3L engine, but the BFG's gripped a lot better. The nitto's cost about $95 a tire, but I found that the new tires I have are MUCH better and only cost around $100-$105 for 215/45-17 and the have a lot more grip. They are Falken Ziex 550's.

Where could I get the Falken Ziex-550's? They aren't on DTD.

You cant really compare the nitto 450 to the bf g force, g force is a very nice tire very sticky and very expensive, as for the 450's I have 225/45/17 on my svt right now and love the ride and the price, they have decent traction not the kind of traction that the bfs would provide but good for the money. kinda ironic I just had a 2 inch nail pulled from my tire at discount today and of coarce my free rotation :-).

I'm wrong, they are Ziex 512's!! Sorry.
I ordered them from the local Discout Tire here in town, they should be available as it was only last month that I got them.
As to the not comparing the nitto's to BFG G-Force...well ok the price is lower on the nitto's, and the nitto's handling is good but thats it. However, there is no comparison to the traction I got at the drag strip with the Falken Ziex 512's versus the Nitto's and they are in the same price range. The 17" BFG's are only in the $120's-$150's I think whereas the 16" are $169+ and not getting any cheaper. One of the main reasons I switched to 17" was to save money on tires. I think I paid about $100 per tire for the Falken's and so far they grip in the turns and in straight-line acceleration as good as my BFG's. The other nice thing is they match the BFG G-Force speed rating. They are a W & Y rated tire depending on the size and for the price and treadlife you can't beat it with a stick.
Sorry, but the nitto nt-450 is old tire technology and is out of date. If you don't want BFG's then shop around, but I wasted enough money searching for tire replacements.
