OP ProudSVT_dup1 CEG\'er P Joined: Apr 2001 Posts: 252 Long Beach, California, USA	So we installed a Alpine CDA-7894 into a E36 M3, and we can get the tuner to play sound, no problem. But when we put in a CD/mp3 CD there is NO sound. It says it's playing, and the equalizer moves, but nothing comes out. We've gone over every setting, still nothing. Help! Aerochargedsedan New CEG\'er A Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 13 NY,USA	Easy fix, My first question is did you us a wire harness adapter? Sounds like you did, If so what you need to do is connect the blue w/white stripe wire from the Alpine to the blue wire in the harness adapter. This will sovle your problem.

You're right/but not right. What you want to do it splice the amp wire (blue/white) to the antenna wire (blue). It doesn't make any real sense, but now the sounds justify the car. Thanks!
