Kremithefrog I have no life K Joined: May 2002 Posts: 21,653 Albany, Georgia	talked to a civic owner tonite (stripped yet still slow) and he was trying to bash fords. i said stock a ford will beat a stock honda, and he was like "yeah, stock" , so i guess he assumes fords are unmoddable. and then he was trying to tell me my springs would hit me in the eyes when i take them off. and then i brought up the no torque thing and he was like "yeah" but still he thinks hondas are great. and then he was like, "yeah, neil (guy in town w/ fast civic) could beat a wrx sti even if it does have 250hp" then we told him it has 300hp, and he was like "awd slows you down" i pointed out to him our drag strip is 1/8 mile and AWD would help, yet he still thinks the civic that has ~200hp maybe ~230hp and a lot torque will beat the sti. at end of this summer (few more mods) i think i'll race him. yeah i know that was long, but i have nothing else better to do and it was funny when it happened. 98.5 SVT 91 Escort GT (almost sold) 96 ATX Zetec (i brake to watch you swerve) FS: SVT rear sway bar WTB: Very cheap beater CEG Dragon Run - October 13-15

tony_dup2 New CEG\'er T Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 34 richmond, va	ok ok i have heard enough about the hondas here in va that all i see and i have beat me a few of them and i only got a muffler and intake on it for now but give me 4 months and tell me where he is and i will show him what a modded zetec can do i have a second motor in the shop being build for me inside and out all new parts forged and stainless block being bored and stroked heads shaved and ported and polished the motor alone will be pushing 250 hp and that before i put my two stage nos and turbo on so bring him and his honda on 97 contour sport homemade intake 2.25" pipe from cat back to stainless muffler superchip painted front grill on order 1.8" intrax springs NOS kit and 17" rox RX4 rims

I can't stand people who think that their ______ is fast because someone else who has a _______ is fast. There are some fast Hondas, and there are a bunch of ricers with I/H/E, that cancel out the gains with heavy 19" wheels, body kits, sound systems and wings and think they can't be beat. Same with Neons, Foci, and J-Bodies. Cent #2 I still consider the Tour an American Car, and if stupid ricers can't handle that, that is their problem.
