I have a turbo (T3 Garret from a Saab) that ive been itching to put in a car. Ive decided my tour will work. Has anyone home made the turbo for the car before. I orignally was going to do thid to my 190E benz but gave up on that project along time ago(by the way anyone want grey market 190E J/K) anyway ive been reading up on the Zetec turbos i think i can do it. Or at least blow somthing up trying. Hey im going to need a new tranny anyway might as well replace both.

You'll need to find (or make) a turbo exhaust header, downpipe, oil and coolant feeds and drainbacks, intercooler piping, go a step colder in the plugs, relocate your battery, find a way to lower your compression, and get a chip to manage it all. Then hope your stock pistons don't melt when you turn the boost up. Good luck

I have eagle pistons for my focus i havent put in becuase of warrenty. They raise the compreshion though. The rest i already took into acount. Ill use a turbo header form focus turbo for that other than that the rest will be "lets see if this works" kinda deal.

yeah, those pistons are pretty much worthless if your going with a forced induction application.

LMAO I realized that afterwards. LOL "I wonder who's going to flame me? Ah, nobody will - everybody here's cool." You could always sell them and get something to lower it!!

I feel you. I just got my hands on a T# tic turbo from a Volvo 740. I want to put in my tour but I am still looking for the parts and the engine info. (stock info like cam lift and all that other rocket science stuff). I am so up for getting this done. I first have to do the work to the valves on my car. They are shot to Sh&*. My engine knocks. I plan on getting some new internals. Theres a shop out here that will lighten my flywheel ,pistons, bottom end. I just want to make sure that I am going to get the right info before I invest the money. I plan on doing the work myself. I am looking for a cylinder head now to do the port and polish on. Next week I will try to get the rest of the parts, so I hope you guys can help me out.
