OP PeterM CEG\'er P Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 140 Calgary	My driver seat creaks. Wobbles when pushed on the top side portion of the seat too. Any ideas? Thanks.

I think it's comming from where the seat is riveted to the mounting bracket/frame. Drives me INSANE I don't know if drilling out the rivets and rebolting the seat together will work or not. Anyone else have any ideas? 2000 Black SVT.. Good thing I'm single.. no way I could afford a g/f AND the repairs on this thing

Black EO_dup1 New CEG\'er B Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 30 Chicagoland	I have EXACTLY the same thing! Dealer diagnosed it as a bad seat track. Ordered a new seat track ($300!) and took it to a seat/trim shop for installation. $400 later....I still have the exact same creaking!

Black EO_dup1 New CEG\'er B Joined: Jul 2002 Posts: 30 Chicagoland	I found something on an SHO site describing the same condition. They suggest disassembling the seat and wrapping the seat back pins with friction tape and the re-assembling. I wonder if Contour seats are the same?
