Interesting, when on-line, Advance lists the Purolator c14680 $15.99 that went up since 16-17 months ago.
Also have a Fram cf 8046 for $26.99. Ouch wonder if it filters small particals or just bigger profit margin?
Autozone Deutsch $7.29 not available at my particular store, but available on-line.

Wonder if any another Ford's use the same filter?

Paul

Wish 3M offered a Hepa or close to Hepa's specs. I've was on their web site last year, they do make them
for the OEM market. Didn't say for whom?

Thanks guys, so maybe ~$12-13 w/ shipping...not bad even if not ordering anything else.

I am only an immigrant to cheesehead land 17 years ago...two of my three kids are natives though. Easy transition from Chicago area as I was already used to baseball teams that suk. smile

The filter I got for $8 is a "Kleener" braand.

The filter material is 3M so it cant be too bad.

Photo here

I will call my Autozone and see if they can get 'em at $8.

Group buy maybe ???

I replaced mine religiously every 20K miles (hay fever is bad in the Willamette Valley - and it really helps). I got a bit lazy as my car piled on the mileage(107K now) and last year I had a problem where my HVAC fan would ROAR when on high speed. Couldn't figure it out! Took it in to the Ford Dealer and they immediately said the cabin air filter needed to be replaced. They were right. INCREDIBLY dirty. Caused the HVAC blower to cavitate. Roars like an F-4 Phantom at full afterburner smile

Just an FYI everyone. When the filter gets badly clogged, you WILL KNOW!

Jab
