I want to get a sports sedan but the SVT contour has a lot of problems and i didnt really want to get a foreign car but it seems like the only other option out there.

Good car, 227hp, AWD can't complain, right?

Wrong...

those are the good attributes, you may find that the SVT has more room interior than the WRX.

But it's always your decision.

it could use a little more power and I would never buy any first-year production car (wait for the bugs to get worked out). It looks better in person, albeit a little plain from the rear. It's a decent car for the price though, but a used M3 would be an even better deal.

I don't know but I am pretty satisfied with my car never had any problems...
as they say you treat it right and it will last its like everything else...
the only problem I see is the waterpump ... but its easly fixable with one with a metal impeller

Not to get on your case, but this is the wrong forum for your question. It belongs in the General category I guess. But in answer to your question, the WRX is a great little car. As to your statement that the SVT has a lot of problems, I can only say rat sh_t! My car has been terrific, and very reliable. It looks great sounds great, and goes like stink. And that was before the modifications.
