So heres the deal,if you have the stock shifter junk it and get a B&M, I missed 4th and went right to 2nd, pegged the tach, clutched it and gave it a push into neautral, and now my engine shakes (kink of like its missing)at low rpm and progressively gets worse as the rpm increases. So I immediately popped the hood and its not knocking or making any strange telltale noises at all, matter a fact it runs great except it shakes/vibrates, it doesnt matter if the car is in gear, neautral, clutch in or out, it just shakes. I changed the oil(no metal in it at all,I strained it and everything), plugs looked good but I replaced them too, and I reset the computer which hasnt displayed any codes. the fluids all look great which leads me to think that I have a balancing problem or possibly an ignition problem. Is it possible for the harmonic balancer to go bad on these svt c's? My mustangs balancer is a two piece and the outer ring rotated in relation to the inner one it acted almost the exact same way. Any suggestions??
