I am on my usual bogged box right now but also installing Linux (Which I've never used before) on another box, it is pretty usefull. I cannot wait till I have enough money lying around to get a dual/tri monitor setup, anyone here running one of those?

I've got an HP KVM at work. Supposedly like a $1500 unit new. It supports 8 machines...also works over a network, which is cool but I haven't played with that. Lots of other stuff I haven't figured out yet as well.

I used to have two monitors, one for my server and one for my workstation. I got a KVM and I'll never go back, especially since I added a third machine.

BTW, welcome to TuxLand

IOGEAR has some of the best soho KVM switches out there. They can support very high resolutions, if that's something you're after...

For seperate physical machines, it's the only way to go.

My favorite route is VMWare, though. 8 virtual OS's running under 1 server, and I can have them running all on the same screen!

I love VMWare. I use it at home and at work, and its the most stable program I've ever used, which is pretty amazing considering what it does. Running a couple OSes on one machine is less prone to crash than one browser
