Honestly, I can't imagine what powershifting must be like in a 3L, s/c'd or t/c'd Contour. Even in my little Zetec it knocks all the change out of the holder and wheel hops for a split second.

How many Vs would a VTEC TEC if a VTEC could TEC Vs? The one, the only....FRNKNFORD http://www.westvalleycs.com

Not before, not now, not ever, no matter how much time it'll shave off. I've put enough money into that trans.

.205 R/T was not a typo, nor was it a foul start. As a matter of fact, I put down a .151 R/T on my bracket pass (hint). I'm still waiting for someone to chime in on how exactly that can be ...

is it because you were racing a faster car? all i know is in bracket racing is that if you have a slow car, you still race faster cars. they just let you go first to even things out.

I don't understand. Even with a Pro-tree, that best you can get is a .400. Deep staged?

OK, the track I was at has changed to the new NHRA reaction time reporting system. Nothing has changed regarding how a race starts, i.e. Sportsman tree is still 3 sequential lights .5 secs apart followed by a green .5 after the last light and Pro tree is 3 simultaneous lights and green following .4 secs later.

The new way of reporting R/T has a perfect light being .000, foul is -.001 or lower. Think of it as an "absolute" R/T. I think the reason they do it is to eliminate the "different" perfect R/T between Pro and Sportsman trees. It's simply a new way of showing R/Ts.

So, my .205 light is what would normally be called .705, the .151 was really a .651.

Cecil already started using it, and Englishtown said they would be using it before the season was over. I suspect many tracks (especially NHRA tracks) will be converting to it soon.

The only reason i ask was from previous knowledge of your other posts, I guess we'll all have to just imagine your car's potential.

P.S. I understand fast time are not a priority for you.

PA3LSVT I was gonna say that there probably starting from .000 r/t, though I wasn't aware of the changes w/NHRA, seemed the only way to make sense, I should check back more often to places I post.

My real concern really is not actually times, I can't really, since the track most of the times doesn't allow for such benefit, but I'm looking at my trap speeds more so to see where I'm at, even that one is always debateble. I guess I have no choice but to work with what I got. They supposedly have plans for a whole new raceway park here, I hope it to be much better and downwind....They can at least give us the benefit of the doubt!

I hope to be happy w/the results from my 3L package, I think I'm having higher expectations than maybe I should but hopefully with full dyno tuning I can get it....
