I got into an accident and i need to change the front driver side wing and the corner light. Can i do it my self? Is it easy to do? Or should i seek professional help? My hood was not touched. I know that the dealer ship will cost me a mint to get it changed is there a better option ? I live in Montreal.

All depends. I wrecked mine over a year ago and need to replace passenger side panel. Hood and ffront assmblyfor the lights and all. we just went to the junk yard and rigged up some stuff and my car is almost done. Not been alot of time to work on it. Something always comes up. Like i said all depending on what is all involved. Let know what u all need. And i ca tell you what your looking at. Took mine to dealer and thye wanted like over 2 grand and we just about fixed it for less than a grand. Couple hundred. smile

Are you talking about the front fender - the panel over the wheel well? If so, I could use some info on that too. Some moron driving a Neon crunched my pass. side panel and I'd like to fix it cheap and easy. Just where are the retaining screws for that piece and how hard would they be to remove and replace??

According to Ford manuals for my 1998.. dont know when if ford ever made any changes...
first you need to remove bumper.. then the windshield cowl grille. remove the headlamp assemblys. then for the fender..
there are supposidly 6 bolts on top. 2 bolts on the rear. One bolt on the bottom and three bolts on the front.
To give u an idea where they are all sort of in opposite corners of the fender.. hope i could be of some help.

John
