Could Someone tell how can i do to replace the motor mounts , how many are they and where are located ? If it is a easy way to replace them I am willing to do it myself...I am so sick and tired of the vibration with the a/c on.

Thanks for advice.

I too have a 95 gl 2.0, i've replaced 3 mounts, 2 of them myself. It's really not too hard to do, just make sure that the mount you are replacing is bad, they may not all be bad. The locations of the mounts are... There is one in the front of the engine in the middle next to the bottom of the radiator, there is one right up top on the left side (if facing vehicle) it's connected to a bracket and it usually has two bolts on top that hold it down or one if it is a hydraulic mount, i'm not too sure on how you replace that one since that's the one i didn't do. To see the other one you have to be under the car, it's towards the back of the engine, this one was a b i t c h to do since one of the bolts stripped and i had a hell of a time aligning the engine so i could put the main bolt through it and then there is also a transaxle mount that is under the air cleaner assembly, i didn't have to replace that one but it think that one should be simple to do since it's right up top. Just make sure you have a good floor jack to jack up the engine a little to take the weight off the mount then just take every bolt that's attached to it off, put new one in place and bolt it up, simple as that. (a lil easier said than done). It took me a while since i've never done anything like it before, took 2 hours for front mount and 5 for rear mount. Well, hope this helps you out. good luck

What engine mount did you use to replace your old one?

i used a motorcraft mounts i got from ford. I got them cheap since i worked for an auto parts store at the time. I wouldn't recommend using anything but motorcraft since anything else will most likely be of lower quality. I speak from experience on that one... anyways, good luck

when mine went out, not sure which one cuz i had my mechanic do it, there was oil all over the floor of my garage. i looked under the car and there was not engine leakes, and my oil level was good, so i figured it was something else...but i have never heard of a motor mount being filled with oil...strange.
