Is it just me or do the Florida police have nothing better to do? I mean, do you really have to give me 5 speeding tickets within 2 and a half years? Do you really have to cost me over $850? Has anyone taken the "driver improvement" course 3 times? I know I have! Man! Those Po-Po! AHHHHHHH!!! It must be the car.....

lol you think thats bad you should be in dallas where your going the speed of traffic which is over the limit and get a ticket. Then get a ticket two days later for going 5 under the speed limit and holding up traffic. Then get another one a week later for your light bulb exploding and going out.lol If thier speeding tickets man invest in a detector.

FLORIDA PO PO SUCKS MAJOR ACE. Just got a ticket the other day. Have been to 4 driver improvement classes, and the big 12hr one... fun times...

Sounds like someone doesn't understand the concept of crime and punishment. You wanna speed, be prepared to get caught. And don't complain about it!!

lol can someone help me figure this out about florida police.

So far I have been pulled over 4 times sence I have been here. NONE was for speeding or anyting other then to check and see if i have a crap you know insurence card ect ect. Anyways this same cop has pulled me over twice and hasnt given me a warning or a ticket nor has said anything about my driving or anything about my car... Whats with that?

The next time this guy pulls me over im going to get his name and bagde number and report his ass in for horrasment.

get a radar detector. I live near the beach in Miami. I always see people getting snagged, and I always slow down once my RD warns me.

lol I have one and I am always doing the speed limit unless I am going on a trip. So any more ideas?


P.S. I already know of all the places on my general route where the cops hide at sence I have gotten here to florida on 3/28/03

Yup, Florida police are pretty tough. I once got a ticket for having the famous sticker of the guy pi$$ing on a honda sign. "Possion of onscene materials" they called it and I was charged with a misdemeanor. I even went to court for this. Pretty embarassing when the judge called me up and read aloud the charge, people thought I was like a porno freak or something. Down here in Pinecrest (S.Miami) at like 1 am you can drive down US-1 and see police lights on pretty much every corner. I'll agree at that time the cop to civilian ratio is pretty close and any little thing will get the sirens on you but c'mon, every other corner!

I hear that the ratio is that thiers 1 cop for every 3 people! I mean come on man dont you think thats a litle high? Its not even that high in DALLAS alone and that is for the entire state of florida from what i hear
