The polls and all the ballots have been counted and recounted for accuracy, and here are the results.

When: Saturday April 19th
Time: Dynos open at 10am, if you want to dyno I suggest getting there early (9:30) b/c Saturdays are first come first served.
Place:MC Racing --4880 Merriam Dr. 66203 (Run it on Mapquest)
Who:Any and all are welcome to join to watch or dyno, its stritcly up to you
Cost: Dyno runs are $55 + tax for 2 baseline runs

When we are done with the dyno, we will head to Shawnee Mission Park to hang out and talk for a while and pick up any stragglers. We will probably end up taking pictures that will be used as a new banner for this site. So cars should be clean or at least presentable, i.e. if you just been 4-wheeling, you ain't getting in the picutre.

After pictures we will go to JALAPENOS MEXICAN RESTAURANT LENEXA
12102 W 87TH ST, LENEXA, KS 66215 for food and beer for those of legal drinking age.

After eating, we will hop on I-35 South and head to Nascart Indoor Racing for some good legal racing action. Address: 325 North Mur-Len Road

After racing, I'm sure we'll all be worn out both energy and $$ levels. And I'm sure most have family and other friends to do things with so we will call it done there or play it by ear.

As of Today, the weather looks awesome, mid 60s and sunny with a 10% chance of rain.

Obviously we cannot estimate how long we will be at the dyno, so those wanting to catch up to us later in the afternoon, should drop me a PM and I can give you my cell #. You can call when you are going to meet us and I can tell you where we are at and how things are looking. Right now there are only 3 people wanting to dyno, so I am guessing (and I stress guessing) 2-3 hours. If anybody else is interested in dynoing, speak up.

For those that need directions to a specific place, I put up address, and highly recommend using a mapping website such as www.mapquest.com to get directions to any of the stops.

Any other questions or things I have left off, post em' here and we'll go with that. Feel free to copy this post and paste it to any other sites you tink might be interested in joining us.

Aaight ya'll, here is the final scoop.

After repeated calls to MC, I can not get a straight answer if they are going to be open or not. It is after all Easter weekend, so I figure they have families too, so they probably need the time off.

So let plan on meeting @ Shawnee Mission Park, Shelter #2 at 10 AM. We'll take some pics, BS then hopefully head to Jalpeno's by 12 or 12:30. Then off to the Go Karts. I hope some of you Maxima and Grand Prix guys can make it, we Contour folk want to be able to beat you at something, God only knows it won't be on the 1/4 mile. Well, with the exception of on eof us.

Directions to Shelter #2 Enter Shawnee Mission Park from the Renner Road entrance and follow the road to the right. Keep on lfollowing that road and you will come to a 3-way stop. Take a right, and you will see a road coming up fast on the right again, there are signs that say "Shelter #2", take another right and follow that raod to the end and whalla! There is a swingset and large parking lot to entertain us all, and if it does rain, there is a shelter to hang in.

I don't want to be the first one there like last year. It felt like no one was going to show up at all.

My excuse is I had women to wait for last time. This time its no women...just me and the SHO. I'll be there by 10 or sooner. Also helps I know some of you guys this time around, last year the only one of you guys I knew was Sam and he showed up way late.

This might give you a better idea. You live downtown so you will probably be coming up I-35...exit at Shawnee Mission Parkway then take Shawnee Mission Parkway west until you reach I-435 then take the I-435 south exit. Then take your first exit from I-435, Midland dr. Turn left from midland dr, go under the bridge then take your first right which is renner rd.

From there its this easy.
