This morning I get into my car and I notice the little round mirrors on my side mirrors are missing! Now there is these ugly black plastic disks on my mirrors. (they little mirrors came with the car) What should I do! I don't want to hella jack up my mirrors.  What's a good way to get the ugly balck disks off? Or can I just pop on replacement mirrors! It looks like s**t now!!! Please help!

ive seen those little convex mirrors in wallmart the other day and they were only a couple $$.Im pretty sure u could just pop the new mirror out of its housing and pop it in the old ones on your mirror (if the theif did it with out,so can u)

You acn use some fishing line and a couple of pencils to get the plastic discs off (assuming they were just stuck on with that adhesive foam tape stuff). Same concept as debadging your car. Just use the line like a saw and cut through the adhesive. Then use some sort of cleaner to take the gunk that is left off. Search for debadging or removing door ding gaurds or go here good luck!

You can also spray some WD-40 on the foam tape residue, which I asume is what's there now. Spray up the residue let it sit 2-5 minutes and wipe clean. A local detail shop told me about this to remove some sticker glue residue off my withow and it worked great. Also do this when it's warm outside.

A razor blade should take them off along with a couple of fingers.

I'm thinking replace the whole side mirrors with some big semi-truck units. You know, the kind that stick out three feet and are about a foot square!

hey people will steal anything!there crazy i had my carbroken into and all they took was my cd's they left a
$1500 stero system and a 120 eddie bauer sweater and my new rollerblades.besides have u seen iraq those guys are looting sinks and silk flowers wutever isnt nailed down!!

Yea it's weird, because my blue valve caps are still on (and i thought those would of been stolen a long time ago) I might just try to take the things off completly, I was never sure what their purpose was... Thanx for the advice!  Maybe I will put big a** truck mirrors on my car  Then I couls drive by people and knock their s**t off their cars! LOL
