Hi, I would like to know if it is safe to reset the car's computer ? does it has any consequences ? I got to be sure before doing it.
Thanks.

Go to FAQ section on home page, then HOW-TO section.
Radio and clock may have to be reset, if you disconnect bat neg cable to do the reset.

You are supposed to pull fues #4 and #11 from the power distribution box underneath the hook. Leave them out for about 2 minutes. You won't have to disconnect your battery which is a good thing.

This is done to erase the KAM Keep Alive Memory. Once done you are ready to go. I often wonder if it would be easier to disconnect the battery, it's a cramed space around the under hood fuse box and a PITA to remove the cover.
