The Brullen GB has revealed that Ford slightly changed the section around the gas tank on late '99 and 2000 SVT exhausts. Has anyone with a non-SVT 98 or 98.5 installed a late 99 or 2000 stock SVT system? Any fit problem? While it seems there is a fit problem for early SVT systems on a late model Tour, I'm hoping a late SVT system will fit on an early Tour.

It does fit. For some reason Ford priced the late one at a much lower price and the late one is the main one that Bill Jenkins sold lots of. I helped a friend install the late SVT cat back on his 96 SE a little more than a year ago. Except for adding the right side hanger, it is a bolt on.
