Talk about luck, I had yesterday off as I sceduled a day off after my trip to Chicago and then this morning I'm watching the news and they posted Roseville public schools CLOSED, which meant I had to use one of my vacation days to stay home w/ the kids You guys can guess what I did in the garage this morning....#11

Yeah, but when I go away for the weekends I come back smiling, and walking like John Wayne!

The TV I think I can get replaced for free as I bought a replacement plan from Sam's Club (thank God!), the receivers, Hughes will replace for free. I just ghave to look at getting my DVD player stereo and video fixed. If it's over $500 to fix or replace, State Farm pays the difference.

TomorrowI take the car in to get eh paint fixed on the bumper and splitter, so at least by Friday she'll be good to go, and hopefully the weather will stay good from now on so I can floss her a bit.

And get some decent surge protectors!

Didn't the ones you had have some sort of guarantee on damaged equipment? Seems most of them do.

Those cheap surge protectors really dont protect against surges. All they do is extend your outlets. The high end surge protectors that actually work are pretty expensive. Good luck getting any warranty claim out of the surge protector manufacturer. Insurance is probably the best bet.

Yeah! know just how you all feel! Walked out of my house this morning to go to work and fell right on my ass!!! I do a lot of driving for my job, as well as lifting, so It hurt to do anything today. In fact, I'm typing this while standing!!!
